Jun's Projects

2024-Present · Co-President / Core Controls Team

Led an 80+ member robotics team, expanding access to hands-on engineering while developing autonomous navigation and robot control systems.

2024-Present · Founder & Lead Researcher

Research at Cal Poly Pomona: A privacy-preserving fall detection system using depth sensing and on-device machine learning. Refined through testing, senior-center feedback, and real-world deployment considerations.

Summer 2026 · BU RISE · Research Programmer & Computational Modeler

Research at BU: Using a 379-region virtual brain model, we investigated why familiar music can remain recognizable even as Alzheimer’s disease disrupts other forms of memory. We found that semantic pathways remained more resilient than episodic pathways.

Summer 2025 · COSMOS UCLA

Project at UCLA Wireless Lab: A wireless live stream transmission system over Software Defined Radio (SDR) and radio frequencies using digital modulation and error correction.
